Seven steps to rapid innovation

IX is an online open innovation marketplace. It allows a diverse community of Innovators to respond to marketplace challenges from Sponsors - Global 5000 companies and not-for-profit organizations. Our process is rapid, secure and results-oriented.

Step 1: Brief Creation
IX works with Sponsor organizations to develop Challenge Briefs, designed to provoke high-quality thinking by Innovators in the IX community.

Step 2: Review
Innovators from all over the world and from diverse personal and professional backgrounds review the brief and decide if they'll respond to the Challenge, and whether they'll form or join a team to do so.

Step 3: Search and Connect
Once an Innovator decides to work on the challenge, he or she can search the IX site for potential team members who might want to work with them on a submission.

Step 4: Collaboration
Innovators collaborate on a solution to the challenge, using each team member's experience and talents.

Step 5: Submissions
Once the team is happy with its response, they submit it.

Step 6: Evaluation
Innovator submissions are evaluated on the basis of how well they address the challenge raised by the Brief.

Step 7: Selection
If a submission is worthy, the Sponsor selects it as a winner and a success fee is paid to the members of the winning team.
